On the 14th, Goldman Sachs held a family night at the Central Park Zoo. Even though my siblings and I were definitely the oldest kids hanging out in the park with their parents we still had a great time. It was a great event, clearing out the zoo for a small event so we could walk around with ease and many parents let their youngsters run around worry free.
I went with my father (how we got invited), my mother, and my two older brothers. My brothers enjoyed the open bar while I went back to my childhood having a rocket ice pop. Most of the exhibits were open for us to explore with a sea lion show to entertain us all.
Besides all the animals, Goldman Sachs put on a good event for families with children show characters showing up and some Star Wars characters showing up! There was a DJ and games played to entertain. The DJ played some killer dance jams even though they were older than the kids there (Cha-Cha Slide and the Cupid Shuffle will always be a party must).
It was a good night hanging out at the zoo even if it was just a bunch of kids and a tiny zoo. Even being tiny, it’s the most animals to be seen in the center of the city and a fun place to go for a few hours, especially if you have a youngster.
